🛒 Buy licences

A license allows you to use one profile on multiple devices simultaneously and make secure audio and video calls. Once activated, the license is linked to your Olvid profile and applies to all your connected devices.

You can view the prices and details of the offers.

You can buy licences in three ways.

1. Purchase a license directly in the app through an in-app purchase

You can purchase a monthly or annual subscription directly in the app on a compatible device. Here’s how in-app purchases work.

iPhone iPad

  • In-app purchases require iOS 17 and later. If you are on iOS 16 and can update, please do so, both for your security and to enjoy Olvid’s latest improvements, including in-app purchasing. Here is how to update your operating system.

  • A Family subscription is available via Apple Family Sharing, which allows you to share access to Apple services with up to five other family members. Each beneficiary uses their own Apple account and device.

  • If some of your family members do not use Apple devices, we recommend purchasing licenses directly from our store.

Android
  • Family subscriptions are not available on Android. Our Store is the ideal solution for mixed households or groups (iOS + Android).
Mac

  • In-app purchases require macOS 14 and later. If you are on macOS 13 and can update, please do so, both for your security and to enjoy Olvid’s latest improvements, including in-app purchasing. Here is how to update your operating system.

  • A Family subscription is available via Apple Family Sharing, which allows you to share access to Apple services with up to five other family members. Each beneficiary uses their own Apple account and device.

  • If some of your family members do not use Apple devices, we recommend purchasing licenses directly from our store.

Windows
  • In-app purchases are not available on Windows. However, a profile with an active license on another device will also benefit from it on Windows after importing that profile.
Linux
  • In-app purchases are not available on Linux. However, a profile with an active license on another device will also benefit from it on Linux after importing that profile.

2. Purchase licenses directly in our Store

You can purchase your Olvid licenses directly in our Store : https://store.olvid.io.

You will receive license links to distribute to users to activate their subscriptions. These links open directly in the Olvid app to activate the license with a single click.

3. Purchase Enterprise licenses by contacting us

Please contact us if your organization chooses Olvid Enterprise. In this case, licenses are managed centrally via your Administration Console. Users do not need to purchase anything: the license is automatically activated as soon as they authenticate themselves in the directory.
