The Discussion settings allow you to adjust several settings for this discussion.

Display the Discussion settings

1. In your discussions list , tap the discussion to display it.

2. Tap > Discussion settings .

Mute notifications

Enable this option to stop receiving notifications of new messages in this discussion.

Choose a duration or a time or an end date or indefinitely.

Send read receipts

You can choose whether or not your correspondent(s) receive(s) a confirmation that you have read their messages in this discussion. This information can then be displayed in Message Info.

By default, when Olvid is installed, the read confirmation setting is globally disabled for all discussions and users.

So if you want to receive confirmation that your messages have been read, ask each of your contacts to enable it in their settings for that discussion, or globally.

You can also choose to let them know if you have read their message in that discussion or globally with everyone and in any discussion, through Olvid’s global settings.

Choose if you want to allow external links to be opened as soon as they are received to retrieve the image that will display their preview.
